The philosophy

Serena Yoga Hampstead

Some people arrive nervous. Some arrive exhausted. Some are not sure why they came. It does not matter. The practice just needs you to arrive.

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." - The Bhagavad Gita

Movement is not
the point.
Presence is.

Serena has been serving the Hampstead community since 2019. Unhurried. The same idea from the beginning: the body already knows what it needs. We simply make space for it to be heard.

Reduced stress. Better sleep. A body that moves more freely. A mind that quiets more easily. Those are the things members come for. Presence is how the practice delivers them.

Studio detail
How it began

Built from a personal practice.

Serena began with a room, a handful of mats, and a belief that yoga did not need to be loud to be powerful. The studio grew slowly because the practice asked for slowness.

The approach

What we believe about practice.

The body leads and the mind follows. Classes are breath-led, teacher-guided, and spacious enough for each person in the room to be seen.

Why Serena

Not the studio down the road.

Sixteen mats. Experienced teachers. A quiet room where attention is part of the offer, not an optional extra.
